Marsha Strajnsak

A passionate and driven product designer, with experience across multiple industries in both startups and large corporations. I helped create design systems, build new digital processes from scratch, redesign old interfaces and improve existing features in a way that maximises adoption and engagement. I am a designer by profession but also an artist, gamer and fighter by heart.

A little bit more about me:

  • I am an autonomous team player that you can rely on

  • I learn to work with people, not methodologies

  • I encourage open exchange of feedback

My people would describe me as:

  • Creative, curious, calm

  • Approachable, diplomatic

  • organised, accountable

I get excited about...

Making cool stuff

Learning new things

My Work - Mostly fancy but always functional.

I love making things fancy. But first and foremost, they should be functional. Particularly when dealing with complex systems, large amounts of data, busy dashboards and a variety of interactions, it is important to ensure that end users can find things where they expect them to be and streamline parts of their work that they find cumbersome. I aim to create interfaces that address all of their needs while considering the type of users I am working with, what they are used to (within and outside of the product) and how we can exceed their expectations.

My process typically covers user research, competitor analysis, business alignment, stakeholder feedback, UX/UI design, prototyping, user testing, technical assessment and development handoff. Depending on the amount of information already available, the scope of the requirement and required timelines, I shorten or extend the process as needed, to ensure we meet expectations and achieve optimal results with the time and resources at our disposal.
